Thief 4 Inbound?

By Mark

It seems that Thief 4 will be revealed at GDC with a session being planned on the game entitled 'Stealing Sound: Generative Music in THIEF' and the blurb states it's the first time the game has really been spoken about in a public sense.

That's all there is for now apart from the oh so clever THI4F title....What's wrong with Thief 4 I just don't know.

KillZone 3 Narrative Trailer

By Mark

Guerilla Games have thrown out a new trailer showcasing the story of KillZone 3 and they've cranked up the 'epic' setting. Looks like they are really going for a more hitting story this time around as the ISA seem pretty desperate.

Ubisoft is bringing the classic Beyond Good and Evil back to us not in the form of the forever questioned sequel but rather in a HD remake of the original. It's scheduled to hit Xbox Live and Playstation Network later this year and will feature:

  • 1080p Visuals
  • Retweaked character models and textures
  • New original soundtrack
Add those in to what the game was already and hey we have a winner, here's the teaser anyway folks.

A Sort Of Recap Trailer For LBP2

By Mark

While I've posted somewhat countless trailers and beta footage of this game, there is now a new trailer that shows just about everything the game has to offer. Again the focus is to show and prove that almost anything is possible with the level creation mechanics and Media Molecule are doing their best to drive that point home.

Content by players for players so to speak.

Fight Night Champion Trailer

By Mark

Departing from the usual straight up boxing that the Fight Night series is know for, Fight Night Champion is featuring a new mode entitled 'Champion Mode' where you take on the role of fictional fighter Andre Bishop. You will be bare knuckle fighting, visiting jail and getting up to all sorts in the 'hollywood' like story.

However if this doesn't float your boat the original career is still there for you to create your own boxer and go that way.

Got An Itch For a Castlevania Clone?

By Mark

Meet Komajou Densetsu II, it's a fan made game that resembles Castlevania in more ways that just appearence yet despite that it actually looks like it'd be a great blast to play. As of now there's only a demo available from the official site but there is a full release on the way available either via mail order or downloadable.

Not to many prizes for guessing that there's a severe lack of English present but hey to play the demo who needs an understandable language.

Demo link - Here - Little bit of deciphering to do but its simple enough.

Catherine Trailer 4

By Mark

With it being the new year it seems Atlus are delivering on their promise to bring more details on Catherine and they've begun with a new trailer that finally showcases gameplay.

Explaining the gameplay however is a little diffucult, what it boils down to is escaping the nightmares. Vincent is chased by all manner of horrfic beasties and abominations that he must escape from via platforming of all things, for those wanting to see gameplay it's here. It just may not be what you was expecting.

Still think it looks real good personally, what about you?

Ever Wonder About Kicking Guys Off Buildings?

By Mark

There's alot of kicking going on in People Can Fly's upcoming FPS Bulletstorm which is being backed by EPIC Games and the President of EPIC poetically wonders about what one thinks when they are kicked off a building.

He also does his thinking in the shower...well.

More Mass Effect 2 DLC Inbound - Cerberus Network All Done

By Mark

It seems there'll be at least one more DLC package for Mass Effect 2 before the finale of Commander Shepard's story hits later this year. The news came by way of the Cerberus Network itself but also told of its demise saying that there will no longer be updates apart from three weeks near Mass Effect 3.

"A week of posts will precede a downloadable content release, and two more weeks will lead up to the release of Mass Effect 3,"

As to what this DLC is or what players will be doing we really have no idea, but when we know you'll know. The Cerberus Network stops updating on the 24th of this month.

Want Dead Space's 'Plasma Cutter' in Dead Space 2?

By Mark

Dead Space 2 finally launches this month and if you want a bit of extra help with that whole 'strategic dismemberment' or just miss the greatest weapon of the first game then make sure you have a Dead Space 1 save on hand.

Visceral's Louis Gascoigne confirms that the save file doesn't have to be a completed game, you just have to have played the original game in order for it to unlock. Very simple reward but should be nice to have at least!

As said the game launches later this month and if you haven't done so already go play the demo!

Pokemon Black & White English Trailer

By Mark

Here is the first trailer for the latest Pokemon adventure 'Black and White' in English. You get to see the newest starting Pokemon who are Snivy, Tepig and Oshawott in addition to some battle action.

There's rumours that March 4th is the Western release date and some other information is that there will be 150 new creatures in the story mode and no old Pokemon to speak of.
