Bleach 'Soul Ignition' PS3 Bound

By Mark

Looks like the PS3 is getting its first Bleach game after the PSP has had a total of seven! Details are really sketchy so far apart from the fact that the game will hit in 2011 and is unlikely to see a US/EU release. Which is strange given the fanbase in the west for the popular anime show, alas you could still import if you so wished to.

If any more details trickle out about this we'll be sure to upload them.

Here is a video which will guide you fully through the process of being able to access this terminal and will also list all possible codes available, have fun.

Nvidia: World's Fastest Graphics Chip

By Mark

PC's aren't exactly strangers to ridiculously fast components and upgrades in technology but Nvidia have just unveiled their newest graphics chip - GeForce GTX 580.

They are claiming that this fastest and also quietest chip out there now coming with a 30 percent increase in performance than its predecessor. Direct X9 and 10 video games such as Starcraft II will apparently run up to 62 percent faster than their biggest rival the Radeon HD 5870. Plus with all the extra performance you still get the 3D usability if you have the Nvidia 3D glasses.

Ever Wondered Why Mario is Italian?

By Mark

We all know and love Mario, but has anyone actually questioned why he's Italian? Actually yes. In a Q&A session Shigeru Miyamoto has spoke the truth behind Mario's nationality.

"As a kid, I was a big comic fan and I liked foreign comics as well. So I drew some characters that had more western type features with a little bigger noses and what not. Now with Mario, I think with Mario Bros. we had a setting of course that was underground, so I just decided Mario is a plumber. Let's put him in New York and he can be Italian. There was really no other deep thought other than that."

Well, whaddaya know. If you want to read the rest of the session head on over here -

Another New Vegas Patch Inbound Now in 'Final Testing'

By Mark

It's no secret that Fallout: New Vegas is a rather bug infested game however Obsidian and Bethesda are hard at work to fix the issues people are experiencing. A patch was released at the end of last month to remove some of the more damaging problems but it's not as smooth as it could be yet.

Over on the Bethesda Blog they have left this message:

"We've come up with solutions for the Xbox 360 save issue folks are reporting, along with a number of other issues being reported."

"We're currently running final testing and certification on a comprehensive patch for all three platforms (PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3), so we'll have something available in the coming weeks. When we have more details, we'll let you know."

"In the meantime, an incremental update for PC should be going up by early next week that will fix the save corruption issues and problems with companions, as well as improve performance for NVIDIA users and resolve some issues reported with Havok."

Sounds like a pretty big patch and will hopefully ease a lot of the problems gamers have been having with the title. Any of you guys had some interesting bugs/glitches happen?

The interview was translated by a certain Nathalie Edelmann, a community rep over on the Bioware forums. So whatcha think?
